Coffee & Spice Perfumes Explained | NOXAEL
Coffee in a perfume is not the same as a morning espresso. Spice in a perfume is not the same as a kitchen rack. Both are notes — roasted, sweet, sharp or dusty depending on the formula around them. NOXAEL keeps a dedicated Coffee & Spice filter. At the time of writing it contains one tagged bottle: Lattafa Khamrah Qahwa. Other live fragrances still use coffee or spice in their published pyramids. This guide separates the tag from the note list so you can shop accurately.
Direct answer
If you want a coffee-named gourmand in the current NOXAEL range, choose Lattafa Khamrah Qahwa — cinnamon, cardamom and ginger over praline and candied fruit, with coffee, vanilla and tonka in the base. If you want spice without coffee as the theme, look at Lattafa Khamrah (cinnamon and nutmeg) or Lattafa Asad (black pepper and a coffee heart note). If you want coffee as part of a chocolate-nut dessert, read Armaf Odyssey Dubai Chocolate, which lists coffee in the top notes.
Coffee as a fragrance note
On this shelf coffee appears in three different jobs:
- Theme of the bottle: Khamrah Qahwa is tagged Coffee Gourmand. Coffee is listed in the base beside vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin and musk.
- One note among many in a dessert: Odyssey Dubai Chocolate lists coffee next to pistachio, hazelnut, praline and knafeh in the top, then chocolate and cardamom in the heart. It is tagged Gourmand, not Coffee.
- A supporting heart note: Lattafa Asad lists coffee in the heart with patchouli and iris, under black pepper, tobacco and pineapple. It is tagged Amber.
If your search was literally “coffee perfume”, Qahwa is the bottle that carries the family tag.
Spice as a fragrance note
| Spice or roasted note | Where it is listed | Bottle |
|---|---|---|
| Cinnamon, nutmeg | Top | Khamrah |
| Cinnamon, cardamom, ginger | Top | Khamrah Qahwa |
| Cardamom | Heart | Odyssey Dubai Chocolate |
| Black pepper, tobacco | Top | Asad |
| Pink pepper | Top | Bade’e Al Oud Amethyst |
| Cinnamon | Top | Hawas For Him |
| Cardamom | Heart | Hawas For Him |
Hawas is still an aquatic-fresh fragrance. A cinnamon top note does not move it into the coffee-and-spice filter. Pink pepper on Amethyst does not make it a gourmand. Read the whole pyramid.

You want cinnamon-date sweetness, not roast Open Khamrah, also A$69.95. Dates and tuberose in the heart; no coffee in the published notes.
You want dessert chocolate with a coffee accent Open Odyssey Dubai Chocolate, listed at A$64.95. Coffee is a top note, not the family name.
You want dry spice and amber more than dessert Open Asad, listed at A$54.95. Coffee is present, but the frame is pepper, tobacco, pineapple, patchouli and amber.
When a coffee-spice gourmand is a poor fit
- You want a light office scent. Hawas is the product page that names office settings.
- You dislike edible sweetness. Qahwa still has praline, candied fruits, vanilla and tonka.
- You expected a bitter espresso-only perfume. None of the current bottles is marketed as unsweetened black coffee.
- You shop only by collection tag and ignore the note list. You will miss Dubai Chocolate and Asad.
Product pages for Qahwa, Khamrah and Dubai Chocolate point toward evenings and cooler weather. In a hot week, use a lighter hand and keep the bottle cool. See the climate storage guide.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the coffee collection only show one perfume? Because only Khamrah Qahwa is currently tagged coffee. Other bottles can still list coffee or spice in their notes.
Is Qahwa stronger than Khamrah? NOXAEL does not publish strength or longevity figures. Both are 100ml EDP at the same listed price. Compare notes, not rumours.
Does Dubai Chocolate count as a coffee perfume? It lists coffee in the top notes. It is merchandised as Gourmand. Treat it as a dessert fragrance with a coffee accent.
Are these unisex? Khamrah, Khamrah Qahwa and Dubai Chocolate are listed as unisex. Asad is presented as masculine.
